Gardinier. Behind this name, we discover a French success story in entrepreneurship, quite discreet yet soon a century old. The three brothers, Thierry, Stéphane, and Laurent, are now Directors of the Group. Owners of the Domaine Les Crayères, they have also acquired the prestigious restaurant Le Taillevent in Paris, and are developing several oenological addresses in the capital and London, including the restaurant concept "Les 110 de Taillevent", proposing 110 wines by the glass. They also own Le Comptoir du Caviar and the Drouant institution.
They inherited their passion for the French art of living from the work accomplished by their elders. In fact, the Gardinier family has always invested in patrimonial treasures. In the 1950's, their grandfather, Lucien, created his "Gardinier" champagne, developing a vineyard in the region around Reims. In the 1970's, their father, Xavier, also acquired the Lanson and Pommery champagnes before selling them and launching himself into the production of Bordeaux wine on the prestigious domain of Château Phélan Ségur.
For three generations, the Gardiniers have evolved and surprised in the world of hotels, gastronomy, and wines, which reflect their chosen image: that of authenticity. Growth was (almost) predetermined when one learns that, at the start, their grandfather, Lucien, entered the business world in 1927 by launching his enterprise in the field of agricultural fertilisers.
